This is a dynamic, two-part program, designed to help participants develop skill in both writing original meditation programs and in performing meditations live.

coloredPencilsSESSION ONE teaches participants how to write the meditations that are the ideal length and content for Spiritualist Church Services and other applications.

SESSION TWO provides tips on how to deliver meditation programs live and offers participants an opportunity to practice performing from the podium.

SESSION ONE, Sunday, August 5th, from 1:00-4:30 p.m. provides detailed discussion and instruction pertaining to writing Spiritualist-style meditations including:

▪       Strategies that will put you into the writing mode

▪       Tapping into inspiration from the Universe and your writing guides

▪       The various stages and considerations of effective meditation programs

SESSION TWO, Sunday, August 26th, from 1:00-4:30 p.m. provides participants the opportunity to practice live from the podium and to receive helpful feedback on content, delivery, and timing. It includes instruction and tips.

NOTE: Sessions One and Two are conducted three weeks apart to provide participants time to write their own original meditation. During podium practice, each participant will have the opportunity to perform a portion of their meditation for live practice and helpful feedback.

COST:            Members: $30 for One Session or $50 for Both Sessions
Non-Members add $5/$10 to Cost

This two-part workshop will run with a minimum of 14 and maximum of 24 participants. Please enroll early to ensure that this workshop runs and to reserve your place.

JULIE GRIFFIN is a board certified international instructor of clinical, metaphysical, and medical hypnosis—and a prolific author. She has presented programs similar to this at a wide variety of locations including at dozens of national hypnosis conventions. As a hypnotherapy instructor, Julie knows that meditation and hypnosis use the brain wave patterns of Alpha and Theta. As such, meditation and hypnosis can both provide direct access to the subconscious minds of participants. During these sessions, Julie will teach the importance of every word, topic, and image used in meditation and how to present ideas with safety and ethics in mind.

Julie was a recipient of the Educator of the Year award from the biggest hypnosis agency in the world. She also received the Hypno-Innovation Award for Safety and Ethics in Hypnotherapy. She is the author of 14 books, including Meditations from Spirit, co-authored with Frederick Augustine Macdonald, to be released in August 2018. Julie’s book: Facilitating Wellness: Inside the Miracle of Hypnosis will be available on Kindle and in paperback on June 27, 2018.

  • How to lead the session effectively
  • The importance of being prepared and emotionally grounded as you step up to the podium
  • How to “hold the energy open” during the meditation
  • Making friends with the microphone
  • The importance of rehearsing and timing your meditation before a live performance
  • Voice and articulation tips
  • The importance of your body language and frame of mind
  • How to make it seem like you are not reading your meditation
  • How to deliver a meditation without a script
  • How to remain grounded throughout your delivery of meditations
  • How to easily record your meditation for self-critique
  • Discover how easy it is to create and record your own healing & empowering programs— and how to post them for the benefit of others
  • Become confident at the podium and enjoy the process of speaking publicly
